    SUGARCUP is a brand that E-Mart directly operates as a select beauty shop. As its name, ‘a cup of sugar,’ suggests, it indicates that you can experience sweet happiness at the shop. SUGARCUP's brand mission is to provide consumers with a happy experience in discovering the beauty style they want by introducing a variety of competitive cosmetic brands at home and abroad and giving various spaces for consumers to experience.

    슈가컵은 ‘설탕 한 컵’이라는 상호 그대로 달콤한 행복을 경험할 수 있다는 의미의 뷰티 전문 편집숍으로 이마트가 직접 운영하는 브랜드입니다. 슈가컵은 국내외 경쟁력 있는 다양한 코스메틱 브랜드를 소개하고 소비자가 체험할 수 있는 다양한 공간을 제공하여 소비자가 자신이 원하는 뷰티 스타일을 직접 발견하는 행복한 경험을 선사한다는 브랜드 미션을 추구하고 있습니다.

  • THE OBJECTIVE

    목적

    YNL Design aimed to visualize the most enjoyable experience that one can have in a cosmetics store and build a unique brand image of SUGARCUP based on customers' exciting experience of discovering their beauty while exploring domestic and foreign cosmetics brands of various concepts. We intended to express the brand concept of BEAUTY PLATFORM, which is attractive to anyone who wants to become beautiful in pop and unique image.

    YNL Design은 국내외 다양한 컨셉의 화장품 브랜드를 탐색하며 본인만의 아름다움을 발견하는 고객의 행복한 경험을 토대로 반영하여 화장품 매장에서 경험할 수 있는 가장 즐거운 경험을 시각화하고 SUGARCUP만의 독창적인 브랜디 이미지를 구축하는것에 목표를 두었습니다. 아름다워지고 싶은 누구에게나 매력적인 BEAUTY PLATFORM이라는 브랜드 컨셉을 팝하고 유니크한 이미지로 표현하고자 했습니다.

  • THE SOLUTION

    해결방안

    The wordmark of SUGARCUP expresses “Beautify myself” in the most beautiful space. The strong pattern motif of black, white, and neon pink depicts the most differentiated space from existing drug stores. We developed signage for each category to compose a vibrant store with various point zones such as makeup bar, homme zone, eyebrow zone, counseling zone, perfume zone, mask pack zone, and cleansing zone. In addition, we developed vibrant graphic artwork that expresses the beauty of makeup, adding a story to colorful touchpoints in the store.

    SUGARCUP의 워드마크는 가장 Beauty스러운 공간 구현, 매력적인 공간 속에서 “Beautify myself”를 표현하고 있습니다. 그리고 블랙, 화이트, 네온 핑크의 강력한 패턴 모티브는 기존 드럭스토어와 가장 차별화 되는 공간을 표현합니다. 메이크업바, 옴므존, 아이브로우존, 카운셀링존, 향수존, 마스크팩존, 클렌징 존 등 다양한 포인트 ZONING으로 살아있는 매장 구성을 위하여 카테고리별 사이니지 개발이 이루어졌습니다. 또한 메이크업의 아름다움을 나타낸 감성적인 그래픽 아트웍 개발을 하여 매장 내의 화려한 터치포인트로 스토리텔링을 더했습니다.
