    ELMNT is an abbreviation for 'element,' which means a pure substance. It is a well-absorbed, extremely moisturizing skin care product made of fine particles. ELMNT's lineup consists of toner, emulsion, serum, night cream, and cleanser, five in total. The fine particles penetrate deep into the skin to continuously provide moisture to achieve an excellent moisturizing effect.

    엘레먼트는 원소, 순물질이라는 뜻을 가진 Element의 약자로 미세한 입자들로 이루어진 흡수력이 좋은 고보습 스킨케어 제품입니다. 엘레먼트의 라인업은 토너, 에멀전, 세럼, 나이트크림, 클렌저 총 다섯 가지의 제품으로 구성되어 있으며 피부 깊숙이 침투한 미세 입자들이 수분감을 지속적으로 제공하며 탁월한 보습 효과를 선사합니다.

  • THE OBJECTIVE

    목적

    YNL Design developed the brand identity and naming of ELMNT to convey the texture of the products. The project's goal was to create a packaging system that can effectively describe the characteristics of the ingredients, which is the core value of the brand. We designed a minimalistic and concise design that allows the product's ingredients to stand out by focusing on the elements that the brand emphasizes and based on its feature of maximizing the skin care effect. In addition, we applied sensible typography to application designs such as packaging, manuals, and labels so that customers can intuitively recognize the product's efficacy.

    YNL Design은 제품의 질감이 느껴지는 엘레먼트의 브랜드 아이덴티티와 네이밍을 개발하고 브랜드의 핵심 가치인 원료의 특징을 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 패키지 시스템을 개발하는 것을 프로젝트의 목표로 삼았습니다. 브랜드가 강조하는 Element에 집중하여 스킨케어 효과를 극대화한다는 점에서 착안하여 제품 원료가 돋보일 수 있는 미니멀하고 간결한 디자인을 기획했습니다. 또한 고객들이 제품의 효능을 직관적으로 인식할 수 있도록 감각적인 타이포그래피를 활용하여 패키징, 설명서, 라벨 등의 응용 디자인에 적용했습니다.

  • THE SOLUTION

    해결방안

    YNL Design developed a minimalist brand name called ELMNT with the skincare brand's value to maximize absorption and moisturizing effect by concentrating on the ingredients used for the product. To bring out the brand that emphasizes the natural efficacy of the ingredients, photographs showing the characteristics and texture of the ingredients were used as a graphic element. Also, each product name, inspired by the element symbol, visually expresses the moisturizing effect that gradually increases through the skin care stages. The brand identity of ELMNT with a minimal look and feel is used with the packaging system developed based on texture and typography to deliver the natural efficacy of ingredients in a moderate tone.

    YNL Design은 제품에 사용된 원료에 집중하여 흡수력과 보습 효과를 극대화시킨다는 스킨케어 브랜드 가치를 담아 엘레먼트라는 미니멀한 브랜드 네임을 개발했습니다. 재료 본연의 효능에 집중한다는 브랜드 컨셉을 살리기 위해 재료의 특징과 질감을 담아낸 포토그래피를 그래픽 요소로 활용하였으며 원소 기호에서 모티브를 얻은 각각의 제품명은 스킨케어 단계를 거치면서 점차 높아지는 보습 효과를 시각적 단계별로 표현합니다. 미니멀한 룩앤필의 엘레먼트의 브랜드 아이덴티티는 텍스쳐와 타이포그래피를 기반으로 개발된 패키지 시스템과 함께 사용되어 원료 본연의 효능을 절제된 톤으로 전달합니다.
